Groundbreaking ceremony planned for September as community bank increases its investment in Columbia County.
WASHINGTON, Ga. (August 26, 2026) — F&M Bank is excited to announce plans for a new full-service office in Columbia County, further expanding its commitment to serving one of the region’s fastest-growing communities while continuing its tradition of relationship-focused community banking.
The new office, located at 5165 Columbia Road, Evans, GA, will provide convenient access to personalized banking services for individuals, families, and businesses throughout Columbia County. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with construction expected to begin shortly thereafter. The office is anticipated to open in Spring 2027.
